From 9 to 13 April, Nicolás Correa will show its FOX model with UAD milling head at CCMT 2018, China CNC Machine Tool Fair
The CCMT 2018, China CNC Machine Tool Fair, is the first international meeting where Nicolás Correa Group will be presented. As in the first edition, CCMT 2018 will take place in Shanghai, at el Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), from 9 to 13 of April. During this exhibition, Nicolás Correa will show its bridge type milling machine FOX to visitors from more than 80 different countries.
During this event, Nicolás Correa will present its FOX model, a bridge type milling machine with moving table. This innovative concept of bridge-type machine combines roughing capacity with the speed and precision of high performance machining. Furthermore, its total symmetrical design improves the geometry of the machine that remains more stable faced with temperature changes. The FOX model counts with the UAD milling head, unique indexing technology patented worldwide and designed to work in 6.000 rpm with no limitations, with a high tool clamping force and a Hirth coupling´s locking force. The UAD head is an automatic universal milling head, consisting of two 45º bodies, designed and built to withstand heavy duty cutting conditions as well as semi-finishing and finishing works with a high precision and speed. In addition, GNC Kunming, Nicolás Correa industrial subsidiary in China, will present its first model of EURO 2000; a high speed vertical machining centre.
Nicolás Correa will not only show its product innovations during CCMT but also the Group will present its new Industrial Subsidiary: GNC Asia created with the aim to increase the contribution of external business to the Group. GNC Asia will offer services of installation, application and reparation of Correa and Correa Km machines and milling heads at the Asian Continent thanks to the new Head Assembly Cleanroom developed by the industrial subsidiary. Moreover, GNC Asia will continue with the commercialisation of Correa milling machines and the development of a quality after sales service not only for China but also for other growing countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam, where the company is developing specific plans for sales and after-sales presence. Nicolás Correa main goal is to become one of the leading companies in the field of milling solutions in the Asian market in which the Group have already installed around 400 milling machines. The new industrial subsidiary configuration is almost ready and it is expected to be working at the beginning of May. In the strategic business plan of Nicolás Correa in Asia, will participate in different international exhibitions besides CCMT of Shanghai, such as; SIMM in Shenzhen, Metaltech in Kuala Lumpur and Machine Tool Indonesia in Jakarta. There will also be an open house at the industrial subsidiary GNC Kunming, which will be attended by customers from Southeast Asia and China.
The CCMT 2018 will be focus on digitalization as the foundation of Machine Tool Sector and Nicolás Correa will show its new platform DELFOS 4.0, available in majority of Correa machines. This system allows monitoring and analysing automatically machine parameters and manages all the information in real time through the cloud enhancing performance and optimising the productive process.
