Nicolás Correa S.A. and Mr Gary Sanderson are pleased to announce the signing of an agreement for the Correa Group to acquire 100 per cent of the shareholding in Design & Technical Services UK (DTS).
For the past 21 years, DTS has been Nicolás Correa, S.A.’s agent in the United Kingdom, although Gary Sanderson has represented us for 38 years, handling both the distribution of its sales network of its machines and the provision of service support. Together, this partnership has given us all the most successful journey that has positioned the Correa brand as the undisputed leader in our machine tool market in the United Kingdom, thanks to a working relationship based on trust, loyalty and mutual commitment from both companies.
We at Nicolás Correa would like to thank Gary Sanderson for his dedication and commitment over all these years and for his collaboration in making this transaction possible, thereby ensuring the continuity of DTS in its current form and future form can continue to be the driving force in the market it is known for and coming under the umbrella of a subsidiary of the Correa Group. Allowing us to continue in this current form and relying on a first-class team in the United Kingdom. Mr Andrew Guy, DTS Sales Director, will lead this new phase as the company’s Managing Director, supported by the rest of the DTS team and is rightly placed to navigate DTS into its next chapter to continue to be the driving force in the United Kingdom it is renowned for.
Gary Sanderson would like to thank DTS, its loyal customers, Nicolás Correa and the other partners he has represented for their partnership, support and trust over all these years and feels the time is right for this next chapter of DTS. The time has come to take a different direction in life and enjoy a retirement spending time with family and friends, as due to his dedication this fascinating yet complex world has taken so much time away.
With this move, Nicolás Correa is reinforcing its commitment to the United Kingdom to focus on as a priority market in its current and future strategy, continuing and building on the foundations undertaken by DTS.
